Description
Punctuated with deep red rubies, green and white emeralds, and pearls – mimicking the audacious colours in Ravi Varma’s portraitures. The first Septum we have ever designed and we can't wait to reach the ones with a septum piercing. Bold, ornate, & for the daring - maybe even everyday.
Composition : Yellow gold, rubies, emeralds, pearls.
Notes on Care
Your Mookuthi
A mookuthi needs its own space, for it’s a jewellery of its own.
Store them separately, somewhere they can rest on their own, away from other ornaments that might scratch them or get entangled with.
Your First Piercing Aftercare
A new piercing settles in its own time. For the first 45 days, let it be; the ornament is best left in, undisturbed. The body is quietly getting accustomed to the newness and will begin to heal around it. Remember, every time you take it out, that work might begin again from the start. It needs less intervention than one might think.
This aside, we have seen piercings shut within 15 minutes of you removing your nose ornament, even after a piercing has fully healed. There are exceptions, but most of them are people who have taken to the piercing much earlier in their lives, when they were in their teens.
Receiving Your Mookuthi
Most pieces are dispatched within 5 to 7 business days.
Some may take a little more time. They may be receiving their final attention, or they may have been chosen by many before you. When that happens, while we continue to craft them with care, we will share an updated delivery timeline with you.
One way or another, we got your nose.

Some questions we are often asked
Can I get my nose pierced when I visit the Studio?
Yes, we do piercings at the studio. Ensure to have about 45 minutes in hand. We first apply a numbing cream that would take about 20 minutes to settle in, followed by choosing the right Mookuthi, picking a side, marking the right spot & having you completely sure of your decision. The piercing itself takes all of 5 seconds only.
How do I find the right size for myself?
There is no single right size, only what feels right to you. A piece that you are instinctively drawn to, something that feels familiar or close to what you have always imagined on yourself, is usually the one worth trusting. It simply boils down to how big is too big for you to pull it off.
What is the best nose pin for a new piercing?
We will take you through a selection that we feel would be the safest for your nose profile during your visit - something that is not too big, not too small & would sit well on your nose profile.
How do I choose the right nosepin for my face shape?
Guidelines exist, but they only go so far. Most people find that what draws them in, a shape they keep returning to, something that feels like it was always meant to be there, tends to suit them better than any rule would suggest. We just create space for your intuition to guide you to your Mookuthi.
